5 Cancelled Comic Movies That We Want To See!
5 of 5 Justice League
In September 2007, Warner Bros. announced director George Miller would be involved in a feature based on DC Comics’ top superhero team. Miller is best known for his involvement in the success of Mad Max and Happy Feet. Then came the writers’ strike.
With an enormous budget of $220 million and a set being constructed in Australia, the producers had even set up a cast with filming ready to start in 2008! Armie Hammer would play Batman, Megan Gale would be Wonder Woman, the rapper Common was set to play Green Lantern and Adam Brody as the Flash.
After the creation of DC Entertainment in 2009, this Justice League movie was permanently canned in favor of a new approach. Let's hope this is a good thing, now that Batman vs Superman is already in the works.
