Is The New Version Of The Joker Good Or Bad?
There is definitely a lot of opinions being voiced about Jared Leto's Joker and we are going to take a look at both the good, and bad, about this new version of everyone’s favorite comic book villain.
Let's Start with the bad:
1 of 6 A Punk Rocker Joker?
Let's get real, this version of the Joker has a more punk rock/Manson look to him and it's a big difference from the Joker we all know. Fans are just having a hard time understanding where they are going with this version of the Joker, are we getting a biker Joker? or is this just a younger take on the character?
2 Of 6 No Scars? and a Grill?
Most people are really upset about the mouth, and we have to agree. Why does he have grills? and where are the scars?! It does look kinda creepy, but it's nothing like the the joker's mouth, which is one of his most important characteristics!
3 Of 6 Tats? Really?
I think the tattoos serve the purpose of giving homage to former actors who have played The Joker. Death on his chest could be Cesar Romero, who was the original Joker, and the smile on the arm could be Jack’s Joker. As for the HaHaHa font, it could be a nod to Ledger, but we are still not feeling the tats. In my opinion, the tattoos are simply there to show us how crazy the Joker is, which makes it lame and comes off like they're trying to hard.
